An All-on-4 implants procedure uses only four (or six) implants to replace an entire arch of teeth. This approach gives you a complete, stable smile more efficiently. At our practice, your dentist will use state-of-the-art 3-D imaging and digital X-rays to plan your treatment with incredible precision. Because your dentist is placing fewer implants, you can potentially avoid procedures like bone grafting to restore your jaw strength.
You can expect numerous other benefits from All-on-4 treatment:
Faster Healing – With just four implants instead of eight or more, you’ll have fewer surgical sites to heal. This means reduced swelling and tenderness compared to other full-mouth implant procedures. The entire healing process is faster.
Comfort During Recovery – Having fewer implant placements means less overall discomfort. Your dentist can also use methods like PRF to promote faster tissue healing. You’ll experience minimal discomfort thanks to our precise surgical techniques.
Back to Your Life Faster – You’ll be surprised at how quickly you can resume your normal routine. Your dentist can potentially place temporary teeth right away. You’ll return again for your customized teeth after a period of healing. You’ll feel confident in social situations in no time.
Better Jawbone Health – The strategic placement of your four implants provides optimal bone stimulation. You’ll avoid facial sagging and maintain your natural appearance. This stimulation keeps your jaw strong and healthy
If you feel anxious, sedation options are available. You can opt for gentle laughing gas or a deeper level through oral sedation. Your dentist can also bring in a specialist who can administer general anesthesia, if needed. This allows you to sleep through the procedure.
Dr. Rich is awesome! (implants and crowns are his JAM) Dr. Martin is better than good (all 4 wisdom teeth pulled with absolutely ZERO pain – and quick. Pam is also awesome (gentle and thorough cleanings with a smile… great personality) and L.A. is even MORE awesome in the office (need to make easy payments? No problem… she’s got you!) Our entire family goes here with all 4 kids enjoying their Invisalign! 😁👍
Dr Martin is amazing having bad anxiety and ptsd due to previous dental procedures in a different state. With Dr Martin’s patience I was able to get a tooth extracted today. Chantel is amazing and I always ask for her she has a heart of gold her kindness and compassion make her standout and ypu can tell she loves her job. Dr Martin is patient and kind. Ashley is great to if Chantel is not there I always see Ashley. The office staff are always so friendly and stand out. Thank you Dr Martin for your patience for explaining everything and for putting my mind at rest Chantel thanks for not leaving my side as always and talking to me the whole time and Ashley thank you for your kindness. I never felt anything when my tooth was pulled those 3 had me laughing. Thank you all for making it easier I am in shock that I was able to achieve this due to past experiences, that’s a testament of great service and the great people that work here. The environment is kind, caring and you are valued. Highly recommend. Keep rocking it, Lisa
Dr. Cottrell and his staff were great. Check in was easy and I was done in no time. They answered all my questions. They were professional too. He also did my implants and there were no complications. I would definitely recommend others go to Dr. Cottrell’s office. Thank you, Dr. Cottrell and his Staff for making this a great experience.
Starting my Invisalign journey today! I met with Betty today and she provided excellent customer service. She was patient, kind, detailed and knowledgeable. She eased my fears, answered my questions and took her time with me. She was Amazing!
Betty – You Rock!!
Dr Martin is absolutely the best. I haven’t had to have a tooth removed in over 30 years. He removed a tooth yesterday and I have not had any pain. The only thing I’ve taken is Tylenol. Dr. Martin thank you for making this a great experience.
Have gone to Cottrell Dentistry for over 4 years and always have a pleasant experience with cleanings and only filling I’ve had in about 30 years. Music in background contributes to the experience. They stream widely approved music genre. Even if I don’t like a specific song, it provides a pleasant setting during my visit.
I have pretty severe dental anxiety after a traumatic experience with a scummy dentist years ago. On top of that, I find the noises (drills, scraping, etc) and sensations (gross tastes, gritty toothpastes, discomfort and occasionally pain) associated with dental work overstimulating. We move around frequently for my husband’s job, and finding a new practice I’m comfortable with after every move is stressful. This, however, is the best dental clinic I’ve ever been to. They are busy but also very good about scheduling you quickly for an appointment between your cleanings if you have an emergency. For example, I called them at 3 this afternoon to ask if something going on with my jaw is a big deal, and the lady scheduled me for an appointment first thing tomorrow morning. They’ve done this for me before when a temporary crown came out. I appreciate how they do their best to get you in right away when you’re experiencing discomfort or pain.
I have been here many times, and I like all the staff that has worked with me so far. Ashley is the best hygienist I’ve ever had. She has made me feel comfortable to the point I don’t really stress before a cleaning anymore. She has a quiet, confident demeanor, and she is friendly and funny. I appreciate that she talks to me like I’m an adult when I’m feeling anxious or overwhelmed. She’s never adopted that loud, overly cheerful voice some people use, like they’re placating a cranky toddler. She’s calm and matter of fact, and I find that so reassuring. She works gently yet efficiently, checks in to ask if I’m ok, offers to give me a quick break, tells me each step of the procedure ahead of time, and doesn’t mind explaining again if my mind was racing the first time 😬
Ashley truly cares about the state of your teeth. She will tell you if you didn’t brush or floss as well as you think you did. Not in a rude or mean way and not to make you feel bad either, but to teach you how to better care for your luxury bones. You can’t improve if no one shows you how to do it properly. Ashley will also celebrate your excellent brushing and flossing habits the next time you come in (if you happen to be the type to brag about flossing and brushing every night 🤧). She’ll also brag on you to the dentist. How awesome is that?!
I’ve seen both dentists, and I like them both. They don’t make me feel silly for asking questions and answer them all thoroughly. Dr. Cottrell did my root canal and crown. He explained what to expect ahead of time, but I was still STRESSED. Of course, it ended up being totally fine and painless. Dr. Martin listened to my complaint about extreme tooth sensitivity and prescribed a fluoride toothpaste that has really made a difference.
In a nutshell, I’m a huge fan of this office. Everyone I’ve interacted with has made caring for my teeth more pleasant and therefore more of a priority in my daily life. I’m so thankful for everyone here.
Dr. Cottrell is an excellent dentist. I had a dental emergency and was able to phone his office on the weekend. He saw me immediately and followed up throughout the week. Routine cleanings are very thorough and the staff is wonderful in discovering how much insurance will cover prior to the recommended procedure. The office also supports our King George community through many donations and volunteering. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend Dr. Cottrell and Associates for your dentistry needs! I needed to get my child in for a toothache before leaving for vacation and they were able to quickly accommodate me. The team was fantastic with my child! Thank you, Dr. Martin, Dr. Cottrell and team!
Absolutely wonderful people here. Dr. Cottrell is fantastic and he’s helped me out so much in such a short time. His staff is friendly and they’re fantastic at what they do too. I’m so happy with my dental work! Their office is first class, clean, up to date, comfortable, and you never wait. Give them a shot, you won’t be disappointed
Common Questions About All-on-4 Dental Implants
What are All-on-4 implants? +–
An All-on-4 treatment uses a unique setup with only four implants per arch. The front implants are inserted vertically, while rear implants are placed at angles for added stability. A fixed full-mouth restoration is attached to the implants. Once you have your new implants and replacement teeth, no one will ever be able to tell they’re not your natural teeth.
What are the advantages of All-on-4 implants? +–
All-on-4 dental implants offer a faster and more convenient solution for replacing missing teeth, as the procedure can often be completed in a single day. They also provide better stability compared to traditional dentures, making it easier for patients to chew and speak with confidence.
How do I care for my All-on-4 implants? +–
Proper care of your All-on-4 implants is essential for maintaining their longevity and preventing oral health problems. Brush your teeth and implants with a gentle toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste at least twice a day, and floss regularly to remove plaque and bacteria from hard-to-reach areas. Visit your dentist for regular professional cleanings too.
